This Indenture made and entered into on this eighth
day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight
hundred and seventy seven, between John McRea of the City of
Washington Wilmington State of North Carolina surviving trustee
duly appointed by the Florida Railroad Company, party of the
first part and Samuel A. Swann of the City of Fernandina
County of Nassua and State of Florida, party of the second part
Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of Fifteen Hundred and sixty
Dollars paid in one second mortgage bond (No 1104) issued by 
the Florida Rail Road company March 1st 1856 with accrued interest
to September 1872 and the further payment of one dollar lawful
money of the United States to him in hand paid by the said party
of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath given granted aliened bargained sold transferred; and
doth by these presents give grant alien bargain sell transfer
and convey unto the said party of the second part all that
certain parcel or tract of land lying and being in the
County of Alachua, State of Florida and more particularly
known and described on the public records and maps of said
State as the south east quarter of the north east quarter, the
west half of the north east quarter; the whole of the south
east quarter; the whole of the north west quarter, the south
east quarter of the south west quarter and the west half
of the south west quarter of section thirty one in Town-
ship eight, south of Range Twenty two, east containing six
hundred acres, more or less, (SE1/4 of NE1/4; W1/2 of NE1/4; SE1/4:
NW1/4; SE1/4 of SW1/4 & W1/2 of SW1/4 sec 31 T 8 S, Range 22 E)
To have and to hold the above described premises together
with all and singular the rights and privileges im-
munities, easements and appurtenances thereunto belong-
ing or in anywise appertaining unto the said party of
the second part and his executors administrators assigns
and heirs as their absolute property in fee simple forever
and the said party of the first part for himself and
successors as Trustees as aforesaid and for the said
Florida Railroad Company and for all others claiming
by through or under him or them doth covenant and
agree that he is seized as Trustee of a good and inde-
feasible fee simple to the above premises and that he
has good right to convey the same as he has conveyed
