consideration of the sum of Three hundred dollars to them in
hand paid by the party of the second the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said party of
the second part his heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece
parcel or lot of land lying and being situated in the town of Gaines-
ville Alachua County Florida and known and described as follows to wit:
The East half of Block eight in the North West quarter of Section five
Township Ten Range twenty containing five acres less fifteen feet
on each end and on East side to be left for a street.
   To have and to hold the above described premises together with all
and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances and
all the estate title interest of the said parties of the first part therein
and the said parties of the first part doth covenant and agree with
the said party of the second that at the time of the delivery hereof
the said parties of the first part are the lawful owners of the
premises above granted and conveyed and that they are seized there
of in fee simple absolute and that they will warrant and defend
the title to the same in the peaceful and quiet possession of the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever.

set their hands and affixed their seals on this the day and year

Alachua County   } Be it remembered that on the 12th day of June
AD 1876 personally came before me I.E. Webster Clerk of the Circuit
Court in and for the State and County aforesaid Milton Stewart and
Julia Stewart his wife and acknowledged that they executed the foregoing
Deed of conveyance for the use and purposes therein conveyed. And
the said Julia Stewart upon an examination held separate and apart
from her said husband acknowledged that she executed the same
for the purpose of relinquishing her dower in and to the same
and that the same was done freely and voluntarily and without
any fear, apprehension or constraint of or from her husband.
