Alachua County } This day personally appeared before me William
K. Cessna Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for the County and
State aforesaid J.B. Davis who being duly sworn says that
he saw DE Warren L. Barton, Olivia A. Porter & Watson Porter
sign seal and deliver the within and foregoing deed of conveyance
for the purposes therein contained expressed and that he to-
gether with W.B. Evans signed the same as witnesses.

This Indenture, made and entered into on this the tenth
day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and seventy seven Between The Florida Land
and immigration Company, a body corporate under the
laws of the State of Florida, party of the first part and
Ideller Kennard of the County of Alachua State of
Florida party of the second part. Witnesseth: that the said
party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum
of fifty dollars lawfully money of the United States of America
to it in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or
before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has given granted
aliened bargained sold transferred conveyed and confirmed
and does by these presents give grant alien bargain sell
transfer remise release convey and confirm unto the said
party of the second part and to her heirs executors ad-
ministrators and assigns forever all that certain tract
or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County
of Alachua and State of Florida and better known and
described on the public maps and records of said State as
the north west quarter of
the north West quarter of^section twenty four in Township
eight south of Range Twenty one east containing Forty
acres more or less (NW1/4 of NW1/4 sec 24 T8S R21E 40 acres)
To Have and to Hold the above granted, bargained and des-
cribed premises together with all and singular the
rights and privileges immunities easements and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining unto the said
party of the second part and to her heirs administrators
and assigns as their absolute property in fee simple
forever. And the said Florida Land immigration Com
pany for itself and assigns and for all others claiming
by through or under it, does covenant and agree that at |
