and recorded therein personally appeared John R.
Sloan and Ann E. Sloan his wife to me well known to be
the persons who executed the instrument of writing herein
annexed by them sealed and subscribed and they severally
acknowledged the execution thereof to be their free act
and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and
the said Ann E. Sloan being privately examined by me
separate and apart from her husband whether her fore
going relinquishment or renunciation of dower was made
freely and voluntarily and without any constraint com
pulsion apprehension or fear of or from her said husband
answers and says that she does acknowledge the same
to have been freely and voluntarily made and without
any constraint compulsion apprehension or fear of or from
her said husband. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set
my hand and official seal the eleventh day of May
in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hund

Alachua County   } Know all men by virtue of an order
granted to me as administrator of the estate of James
B. Bailey deceased by the Now Judge of the Circuit
Court of Alachua County and State of Florida em-
powering me as administrator as aforesaid to sell
and make good and lawful titles to John P. Cosby
who has since transferred his right and interest to
Johnson Chestnut. That I C.O. Bailey admin-
istrator as aforesaid do for and in consideration
of the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00 the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged sell
release and convey and by these Presents, have
sold released & conveyed unto the said Johnson
Chestnut all that certain piece or parcel of land
known and described as follows to wit: Commencing
at the south west corner of the lot now owned
by L.L. Hill thence west four hundred and twenty
feet (420) thence north (210) two hundred and
ten feet thence eat four hundred and twenty
