County of Alachua } This Indenture made and entered into this the twenty
six day of January AD 1877 Between William A. Colclough of
of said County and State, of the first part and J.H. Goss of said
County and State of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of
the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred
& fifty dollars ($ 450) to him in hand paid at and before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged 
hath given granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these
Presents doth give grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
party of the second part all that lot tract or parcel of land
lying and being situate in the town of Gainesville, County of
Alachua State of Florida Known and described as follows
to wit: Beginning at a point forty five feet & a half west of the
south east corner of block four (4) Range four (4) in said town
of Gainesville & running thence North fifty (50) feet thence West
twenty five (25) feet; thence south fifty (50) feet to the line of Liberty
Street thence east along said street line twenty five (25) feet  to the
point of beginning containing twelve hundred and fifty square feet
the said lot being a part of said block four (4) Range (4) four and
the boundary line of said lot running parallel with the lines
of said block & Range. To Have and to Hold the said described
premises together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any-wise appertaining unto
the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns in fee simple
forever.  And the said party of the first and his heirs shall and will
forever warrant and defend the title to the above described premises
in & to the party of the second part his heirs and assigns. In
testimony whereof the said party of the first part has hereunto
set his hand & seal this day & year above written.
