                     Indenture of
State of Florida} This^agreement made and entered into
Alachua County  } this the thirty first day of January
                } in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and seventy six by and between Parasade
T. Stringfellow party of the first part and Amanda
A. Sykes, Mary A. Sykes William J. Sykes George W. Sykes
parties of the second part all of the parties being
of the State and County aforesaid. Witnesseth that the
said party of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars good
and lawful money to her in hand paid by the parties
of the second part at and before the ensealing of
these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknow-
ledged the said party of the first part hath given
granted bargained and sold conveyed and confirmed
and by these Presents doth so give grant, bargain
sell and convey unto the parties of the second part their
heirs executors or assigns the following lot piece or
parcel of land Known and described as follows to wit:
One acre of land more or less situated on the north
west quarter of the south west quarter of section twenty
six in Township ten south of Range twenty two east
Known and designated as lot No two or as the String-
fellow lot. To Have and to Hold the above described
land together with all and singular the rights mem-
bers hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belong-
ing or in any-wise appertaining unto the sole use
benefit and behoof of the said parties of the second
part their heirs and assigns forever and the said
party of the first part doth covenant and agree to and
with the parties of the second part that she is possessed
of a good and lawful title in fee simple and hath
a right to sell and dispose of the same and that he
will warrant and defend the said parties of the second
part in the quiet and peaceable possession of the
same against the claims of all persons whatsoever
In testimony whereof the said parties of the first
part hath hereunto set her hand and seal this the
thirty first day of January in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and seventy six
