Alachua County   } Know all men by these Presents that Henry
Elliot and Jane W. his wife and Edwin W. L'Engle and Eliza H. his
wife of said State and County for and in consideration of the sum
of Two Hundred ($20000) Dollars lawful money of the United States of
America to them in hand paid by Joshua C. Prescott the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, sold and
conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey
unto the said Joshua C. Prescott his heirs & assigns forever
all that certain tract piece or parcel of land situate lying & being
in the County of Alachua State of Florida more particularly described
as follows to wit = Block One (1) and Two (2) of Range six (6) and
block one (1) and  Two (2) of Range 7 comprising four (4) lots each
two hundred (200) feet square All in section Thirty three (33)
Township Nine (9) Range Twenty (20) South & East Reference to map
this day recorded in which said property is embraced will more
fully show. Together with all and singular the tenements heredit-
aments rights members and privileges thereunto appertaining
or belonging.  To Have and to Hold the within granted and described
premises unto the said Joshua C. Prescott his heirs and ass-
igns forever And the said Henry Elliiot and Edwin W. L'Engle 
and their wives for themselves their heirs executors & adminis
trators do covenant and agree with the said Joshua C. Prescott
that they are lawfully seized in fee simple of the aforegranted
premises and that they are free from all encumbrances and
that they have a good right to sell and convey the same to
the said Joshua C. Prescott his heirs and assigns as aforesaid and
that the said Elliott & L'Engle and their wives for themselves
their heirs executors & administration shall & will warrant
and defend the above mentioned and described premises
against the lawful claims & demands of any and all persons
whatsoever. Given under our hands & seals this day of January

Leon County      } Before me James Westcott Jr one of the Justices of
the Supreme Court of the State of Florida personally came Henry Elliot to me
well known as one of the persons who executed the foregoing deed and
acknowledged that he signed and sealed the same as and for his
act and deed and for the purposes therein mentioned
