Be it known that before me a Justice of the Peace in
and for said County & State personally appeared Samuel
A. Swann and Martha R. Swann on this 13th day of
January AD 1877 who severally acknowledged that they
executed the foregoing deed and I further certify that
the said Martha R. Swann being at the same time
separate and apart from her said Husband did acknowledge
under hand and seal that she did execute the foregoing
deed of conveyance to Mattie E. Robinson and that she
joined in the said deed for the purpose of relinquishing
and renouncing all dower or right of dower in and to
the premises described therein and that said relinquishment
and renunciation of was and is made fully and
voluntarily and without any compulsion or constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her husband the said
Samuel A. Swann

This indenture made and entered into on this the twentieth day
of July in the year of our lord one thousand eight
hundred and seventy 6 Between the Florida Land and
immigration Company a body corporate by the Laws
of the State of Florida party of the first part
and Nathan C. Pettit of party of the second part
Witnesseth That the said party of the first part for and in
consideration of Fifty dollars 00/100 $50.00 lawfull
money of the United States of America to it in
hand paid by the said party of the second part at
or before the ensealing and delivery of these
presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
has given granted aliened bargained sold transfered
conveyed and confirmed and does by these presents
give grant alien bargain sell transfer remise
release convey and confirm unto the said party of
the second part and his heirs and assigns forever all that
certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in
the County of Alachua and State of Florida and
better known and described on the public maps
and records of said State as the North west
quarter of the south west quarter (NW1/4 of SW1/4)
of section Eleven (S 11) Township eight (T8) South of
Range twenty one (R21) East (NW1/4 of SW1/4 of
Sec 11 T8S R21E) To have and to hold the above
granted bargained and described premises together
with all and singular the rights privileges
immunities easements and appurtenances thereunto
