To all whom these presents shall come greeting
                                              Whereas at a
sale of land by L.A. Barnes Collector of revenue of the
County of Alachua on the third day of Jany in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy six
for the non payment of the taxes levied and assessed
for the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy five
and which remained unpaid on the day of such sale, together
with the costs and charges due then with the following described
lot of land to wit, Lot five (5) section nineteen (19) Township
(7) seven Range eighteen (18) containing seventy three
acres sold to George R. Fairbanks who was the best
bidder therefor, for the sum of eight dollars and
seventy five cents, which said sum was the whole
amount of Taxes due and unpaid on said lot of land
for the year aforesaid, together with the interest and
cost due thereon, and the charges of such sale, and has
been paid by the said George R. Fairbanks to the said L.
A. Barnes Collector of Revenue aforesaid; Now know all
men by these presents that the State of Florida, in
consideration of the sum of money aforesaid, and
the premises and in conformity with law, hath and
doth hereby give grant and convey the said lot of land
above described, together with the hereditaments and 
appurtenances, to the said George R. Fairbanks and
to his heirs and assigns to their sole use and benefit
forever. In Testimony whereof I Irving E. Webster
County Clerk of Alachua Co have executed this deed
pursuant to and in virtue of the authority invested
by law, and for and on behalf of said State, and have here-
-unto subscribed my name officially and affixed the seal
of the County Court of the said County of Alachua at
Gainesville in the said County of Alachua the 27th day
of January in the year of our Lord one thousand 
eight hundred and seventy seven  Irving E. Webster (Seal)
