The People of The State of New York By the grace of
God free and independent to all to whom these presents
shall come or may concern, Greeting. Know ye that we
having examined the records and files in the Office of the
Clerk of the County of New York, and Clerk of the Supreme
Court of said State for said County do find a certain
assignment & schedules there renaming in the words and
figures following: to wit:

eight hundred and sixty one between Clement H. Young
of the City County and State of New York Merchant
party of the first part and Johnathan S. Christee of
Jersey City Merchant doing business at No 35 Courtland
Street City of New York party of the second part
Whereas the said party of the first part is justly indebted
to sundry persons and firms in in sundry considerable sums
of money and being unable to pay the same in full is
desirous of making a fair and equitable distribution of
his property and effects among his creditors Now this
Indenture witnesseth that the said party of the first part
in consideration of the premises and of the sum of one dollar
to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted
bargained and sold, assigned, transfered and set over and by
these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said
party of the second part and the survivor of him his heirs
and assigns all and singular the lands tenements and hered-
itaments and all the goods and chattels avails and merchandise
bills bonds notes Book accounts Claims demands
Judgements Choses in action evidinces of debt mortgages
and property of every kind and description which the said
party of the first part has or owns or in or to which he
has any interest severally, or jointly of which said real
estate goods wares and Merchandise Choses in action
and other property aforesaid a schedule or inventory is hereunto
annexed Marked "A"
And also all the Books of accounts of the said party of the
first part and all his papers documents and vouchers
relating to his business dealings or property. To have and to
hold the same and every part or parcel thereof with the
appurtenances to the said party of the second part and
the survivors of him his heirs executors administrators
and assigns. I trust nevertheless and to any for the following
uses intents uses and purposes that is to say that the
said party of the second part shall take immediate possession
of all and singular of all the real estate property and
effects hereby assigned or intended so to be and shall
with all reasonable speed and dilligence sell and despose of |
