This Indenture made this the thirtieth day of June in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy six between George F.
Beattie and his wife Annie Beattie of the County of Alachua & State of Florida
parties of the first part and Mary J. Seagle of Alachua County Florida party of
the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of twenty six ($2600) dollars to them in hand
paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have bargained sold and conveyed and confirmed and
by these presents do bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said party
of the second part her heirs and assigns forever all that certain tract or
lot of land in section thirty three 33, township nine (9) South of Range
twenty (20) East in Alachua County & State of Florida more fully described and
bounded as follows to wit: beginning at a stake at the Northwest cor-
tract or
ner of Sarah C. Wynn's^Lot of land and running North on section line
between sections 32 and 33 the distance of three hundred and fifty feet (350)
to a stake: thence running East six hundred and thirty feet (630) to a
stake: thence running South seven hundred (700) feet to a stake: thence
running West one hundred and fifty (150) feet to the south east corner of
Sarah C. Wynn's lot: thence North three hundred and fifty (350) feet
to northeast corner of said lot and thence four hundred and eighty (480)
feet to the place of beginning, containing six & a half (6 1/2) acres more or
less. Together with all the estate right property and appurtenances whatever, be
longing to the above described premises as well in law as in equity.
To have and to hold the above described property unto the said Mary J. Seagle the
party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever. And the said parties of the
first part for themselves, their heirs executors & administrators hereby covenant
with the said party of the second part that at the time of the delivery hereof the
said parties of the first part are the lawful owners of the property above sold
& granted in fee simple, that the said property is free from all incumbrances
and the said parties of the first part have good right to sell and convey the
same to the said party of the second part as aforesaid and the said parties
of the first part do sell convey and warrant the above described property to the
said party of the second part, and the said parties of the first part their
heirs executors & administrators do ever warrant and defend the same.
In witness whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands

Alachua County } of George F. Beattie grantor in the foregoing Deed conveying
real estate for and in consideration of the premises mentioned in said deed and
one dollar to me in hand paid by Mary J. Seagle grantee in said deed the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have remised, released, relinquished, re-
nounced and by these presents do relinquish, renounce & forever quit claim un-
to the said Mary J. Seagle all my dower and right of dower in and to
the lands described in the foregoing deed mentioned. To have and to hold the
same unto the said Mary J. Seagle her heirs & assigns forever. And I hereby
acknowledge that I do the same freely & voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint |
