Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents Richard C. Dennis
and Henrietta S. Dennis his wife of the State of Massachusetts and
County of Essex, Town of Beverly parties of the first part for and
in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Dollars to us in
hand paid by L.G. Dennis party of the second part of Alachua
County in the State of Florida the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained sold aliened and conveyed and by
these presents do grant, bargain, sell, aliened and conveyed
the said L.G. Dennis party of the second part all that certain
lot or parcel of land situated lying and being in the town of 
Gainesville in said County of Alachua and State of Florida and
known and described as follows to wit Lot (2) Block (3)
Range Six (6) being Two hundred feet North and South by One-
-hundred feet East and West and Fronting East on East Main
Street or Church Street. Together with all and singular the
rights, members tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
to the said premises appertaining or in any wise incident
thereto To have and to hold all and singular the premises
before described unto the said L.G. Dennis and to his heirs
and assigns in fee Simple forever And we do hereby bind
ourselves our heirs executors and administrators to warrant
and defend all and singular the said described premises
unto the said L.G. Dennis his heirs and assigns against
all persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same
or any part or parcel thereof.
     In witness whereof we hereunto set our hands and
seals this the fifth day of July A.D. Eighteen hundred and

Alachua County   } Before the undersigned personally came
Rich C. Dennis and Henrietta S. Dennis grantor in the
foregoing deed of conveyance and to the undersigned well known
to be the said grantor who acknowledged that they executed
the said deed of conveyance for the uses and purposes
as therein contained and expressed  And the said Henrietta
Dennis being questioned separate and apart from her
said husband relinquishes all dower and right of dower
of and to the premises described in the foregoing conveyance
   Taken acknowledged and subscribed to before me this the day
and year first above written
