first part in hand paid by the party of the second part at
the time of the executing of this Indenture, the Receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, that said party of the first part has
bargained and sold and hereby doth convey unto the said party
of the second part, all those certain tracts or parcels of land
known and described as sections Nine (9) sixteen (16) twenty one (21)
and seventeen (17) in what is known as the Arredondo Grant lying
in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and containing in
all Twenty five hundred and sixty three & 2/100 acres of land more or
less. To have and to hold the above described and granted premises
and every part and parcel thereof with all the rights improvements
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining,
to the party of the second part his heirs executors or assigns
in fee simple forever. In testimony whereof the said party of
the first part as assignee aforesaid hath hereunto set his
hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above

                 } This Indenture made and entered into the
Twenty sixth day of February AD 1877 between William Edwards
and Julia A. Edwards his wife parties of the first part and
Jonathan S. Christie of the second part Witnesseth that for
and in consideration of the sum of Thirty two hundred
                               in hand
to the parties of the first part^paid at the time of executing
this Indenture the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
said parties of the first part have bargained and sold and do
hereby convey unto the said party of the second part all those
certain tracts or parcels of land known and described as
sections No nine (9) sixteen (16) Twenty one (21) and seventeen (17)
all in township Eleven (11) Range nineteen (19) east and in what is
known as the Arredondo Grant in the County of Alachua and
the State of Florida and containing in all Twenty five hundred
and sixty three & 2/100 acres of land more or less. To have and to
hold the above described and granted premises and every part
and parcel thereof with all the rights improvements and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the only proper
use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part
