                   This Indenture made and entered
into on the 16th day of October AD 1876 Between
Theopholus Williams and Eugenia Williams his Wife
of the State and County aforesaid of the first part and
James L. Shuford and Mary E. Shuford his wife
of the second part and of the same place Witnesseth
that the parties of the first part for and in con-
sideration of the Sum of Four hundred dollars
good and lawful money of the United States to
them in hand paid at and before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged have bargained and Sold and
by these presents doth grant bargain and Convey
unto the said party of the second part all that certain piece
or parcel of land lying and being Situated in the Town
of Newnansville State and County aforesaid and described
as follows, Begining at the North East Corner of Block
Number (4) Four and runing south two hundred and fifty
feet thence west three hundred and forty four feet to place
