rights and privileges thereunto appertaining or belonging
To Have and To Hold the within granted and described premises
unto the said H.C. Eddings his heirs and assigns forever and the
said Henry Elliot and Edwin M. L'Engle and their wives for themselves
their heirs executors and administrators do covenant and
agree with the said H.C. Eddings that they are lawfully seized
in fee simple of the above granted premises and that they
are free from all encumbrances and that they have good
right to sell and convey the same to the said H.C. Eddings
his heirs and assigns as aforesaid and that the said Elliot &
and L'Engle and their wives for themselves their heirs executors
and administrators shall and will warrant and defend the
above mentioned and described premises against the
lawfull claims and demands of any and all persons what-
-soever Given under our hands and sealed this the 15th day

came Mrs Jane W. Elliot wife of Henry Elliot and Mrs Eliza
H. L'Engle wife of Edwin W. L'Engle who being examined
by me separate and apart from their said Husbands
acknowledged in my presence that they signed the
foregoing deed of conveyance freely and voluntarily
without compulsion constraint, apprehension or fear of or
from their said Husbands and for the purpose of
renouncing and relinquishing all right of dower in
and to the property conveyed in the above deed

W. Elliot and that she and Chas D. Macartney in the presence
of each other signed the same as subscribing witnesses to the
same Jennie L. Elliot
