having given due notice of the time and place of sale, should
expose the said real estate for sale by public auction and sell the
same to the highest bidder therefor,
and clear of all incumbrances; and the said Jonathan C. Greely
assignee, as aforesaid, of the said Bankrupt, after having given
legal notice of the time and place of sale did on the 15th day of
May 1870 at Jacksonville Florida expose and offer for sale at auction
to the highest bidder, all that certain land and estate belonging
to the estate of the said Bankrupt and known and described as
follows to wit; E1/2 of NE1/4 section (9) nine Township (9) nine Rang (18)
eighteen south & East containing eighty acres more or less and
sold the same to Josiah E. Townsend he being the highest bidder there-
-for, for the sum of sixteen dollars, lawful money of the United States
Now know all men by these presents that, I, Jonathan C. Greely,
assignee, as aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sum of six-
-teen dollars to me in hand paid by the said Josiah E. Townsend 
at and before the ensealing and delivery of these hereof - have
granted, bargained, sold aliened, released conveyed and confirmed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien release convey
and confirm unto the said Josiah E. Townsend his heirs and assigns
forever all the said tract of land above described and hereby
conveyed, together with all the improvements thereon; and the
rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments thereto belonging, or in
any way appertaining, and the reversion rents, profits and issues
thereof, To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land
above described, hereditaments and appurtenances unto the said
Josiah E. Townsend his heirs and assigns, to and for his and their
own use and behoof, for all such estate and no other, as the said
bankrupt had had and held therein at and immediately before
by him of his petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy, and
clear of all incumbrances.
