a tract of land known as the "Arredondo Grant" - and
described as follows, that is to say; the north half of the north
half of Lot number nine (9) of Brushes addition to Gainesville
being one hundred (100) feet north and south by two hundred
and forty five (245) feet East and west it being a part
of the same ground which by a decree passed in the case
of Brush et al against Prall et al, in the Circuit Court of St
Johns County and State of Florida, on the eleventh day of
August, in the year eighteen hundred and forty nine, which
decree has been duly recorded in the Clerks office of Alachua
County of said State was adjudged and appointed as the prop-
erty belonging to the said Nehemiah Brush deceased
Together with all and singular the rights, privileges advantages
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances and the reversion
and reversions, remainder and remainders rents issues and
profits thereof; and also all the estate right title interest
claim and demand whatsoever both in law and Equity, which
the said testator had in his life time and at the time of his
decease, and which the said party hereto of the first part
hath, by virtue of said last will and testament, or otherwise
of, in and to the same and every part thereof with the appur-
tenances, To have and to hold the above described lot or parcel
of ground, with the appurtenances, unto the said party hereto
of the second part her heirs and assigns forever. And the
said party hereto of the first part, as executor aforesaid, doth
covenant with the the said party of the second part her heirs
and assigns, that he has not done any act, matter or thing
to incumber the property hereby conveyed, and that he
will execute such further assurances as may be necessary

Be it known that on this day, before me a Commissioner appointed by the Governor
of the State of Florida, and duly commissioned and qualified to take acknowledg-
ments of Deeds &c in the State of California that are to be used or recorded
in the State of Florida personally appeared Charles W. Brush to me
known of my own knowledge to be the party described in and
who executed the foregoing deed and acknowledged the
same to be his act. In testimony whereof I have hereunto
subscribed my name and affixed my seal of office this
