This Indenture made and entered into on this
the tenth day of August AD eighteen hundred and 
seventy six between Alexander Goodson & Celia Good-
son his wife of the County of Alachua and State of
Florida of the first part & Nelson Grey of Shelby Coun-
ty Kentucky of the second part Witnesseth that
the said parties of the first part for and in consider-
ation of the sum Four hundred and sixty dollars ($460.00)
to them in hand paid by the said parties of the second
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
bargained & sold given granted aliened released and
remised and by these presents do give grant bargain
& sell alien remise release remise & convey unto the party
of the second part & his heirs in fee simple all that
certain tract or parcel of land lying and situate in the
County of Alachua and State of Florida as known and
described on the maps of public survey of said State as
a portion of section number thirteen in Township
number nine range twenty two east and more
particularly described on a map of record survey
& recorded on the Books in the Clerks office in the
County in which it lies as lot number four (4) bound-
ed as follows commencing at the Bellamy Road
at a stake running north to Santa Fee Lake twenty
seven chains and forty seven links then commencing
at same stake or place of beginning and running
west with the Bellamy Road seven chains & fifty
links to a stake thence North thirty six chains and
forty seven links to Santa Fee Lake and comprising in
all twenty three acres & two one hundredth of an
acre (23 2/100) more or less, to have and to hold the above
described premises together with all and singular
the rights and privileges immunities easements & ap-
purtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise ap-
pertaining unto the said party of the second part and
his heirs as his absolute property in fee simple forever
and the parties of the first part for themselves their
heirs executors and assigns do covenant and agree that
they are seized of a good and indefeasible fee sim-
ple to the same described premises and that they
have a good right to convey the same as they do
convey the same free and discharged from all en-
cumbrances and liens of any and every nature and dis-
cription and that the said party of the second part
his heirs and assigns shall quietly and peaceably
enjoy the above described premises against all
person whatsoever claiming the same I witness
whereof the said parties of the first part have
hereunto affixed their hands and seals this the
day and year above written Alexander Goodson (Seal)
