Be it remembered that on
this the 11th day of August AD eighteen hundred and
seventy six personally came before me Saml J. Kennard a
Justice of the Peace in and for said County Alexander
Goodson & Celia Goodson his wife who being duly sworn
acknowledged that they executed the foregoing conveyance
of land & for the purpose therein set forth and the said
Celia Goodson wife of Alexander Goodson having been
examined separate and apart from her said Husband
says she executed the foregoing conveyance for the purpose
of relinquishing all her right title dower interest in
the above described premises and that she did the same
voluntarily and of her own free will and accord and for
the purpose therein set forth and that she did the same
free from all fear & restraint of or from her said husband
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed

This Indenture made and entered into on this
the 31st day of July AD eighteen hundred and seventy
six (1876) between John A. Grainger and Elizabeth
Grainger of Putnam County Florida parties of the first
part and Celia A. Stevens of Alachua County Florida of the
second part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of Five hun-
dred dollars to them in hand paid by the party of the
first part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have bargained & sold given granted aliened and released
and by these presents do give grant alien bargain
sell release and convey and confirm unto the party of
the second part all that all that certain tract or
parcel of land lying and being in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida and more particularly known
and described on the maps of Public survey of said
State as the south half (1/2) of the south east quarter (1/4) of the
south east quarter (1/4) of section fifteen and the East
half of the North East quarter of section twenty two (22)
in Township nine south of Range twenty two East and
containing in all one (100) hundred acres more or less
To have and to hold the above described premises
together with all and singular the rights and
privileges immunities easements & appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining
unto the said party of the second part & her heirs
as their absolute property in fee simple forever
