This Indenture made and entered into this 6th day of December
1876 between Oscar D. Morris of the first part and Leola Matheson
of the second part both of Alachua County Florida
Witnesseth that the said O.D. Morris party of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars
to him in hand paid by the said party of the second
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath
granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth
grant bargain alien and convey unto the Said Leola Math-
eson and the heirs of her body the following described land
to wit The North half of Lot two (2) Block three (3) Range
Seven (7) of the Survey of the Town of Gainesville situated
and located in the Town of Gainesville Florida together with
all and singular tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the
Said Leola Matheson and the heirs of her body forever
And the said party of the first part covenants to protect and
defend the said party of the second and her heirs in the title
to the above described property against the claims of all persons
whomsoever

hereunto set his hand and seal this the 6th day of December 1876
