State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this
Alachua County } the 3rd third day of March AD 1877 between
Annie C. Drake and her husband B.C. Drake who joins her for
the purpose of conveying the herein described land of the
first part and Miss Issabella H. Hopwood of the second part
all of Alachua County Florida
Witnesseth that the said Annie C. Drake and B.C. Drake for
and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred
dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged have this day granted bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant bargain alien
and convey unto Isabella H. Hopwood her heirs and assigns
subject to the following mortgages one made by Annie
C. Drake and B.C. Drake to Ann F. Frazier for the sum of
($200) two hundred dollars recorded on page 216 of Mort-
gage Book "C" and the second by Annie C. Drake and
Burt C. Drake to Carlos Huntley for the sum of ($1500) fifteen
hundred dollars and recorded on page 243 Mort-
gage book "D" the following described land to
wit Block (1) one Range (7) seven lying in the Town of
Gainesville and all that lot or parcel of ground known
and described on a map of Brushes addition to Gaines-
ville filed in the Clerks office of said County of Alachua
as lot number (17) seventeen being (200) two hundred feet
North and south and (400) four hundred feet East
and West together with all and singular the buil-
dings tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
to the same belonging or any wise appertaining
to have and to hold the same unto the said Isabella
H. Hopwood her heirs and assigns forever and the said
parties of the first part covenant and agree that they
will warrant and defend the title to the above
premises against the claims of all parties whomsoever
excepting those above referred to unto the said party of
the second part her heirs and assigns forever In witness
whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto

ered freely and voluntarily without fear apprehension constraint or
compulsion of or from her said husband Annie C. Drake
