This Indenture made this Twenty second day of January in the
year of Eighteen hundred & seventy seven, between Chas W. Brush at
present of the City of San Francisco and State of California, Executor
of the last will & testament of Nehemiah Brush deceased of the first
part and Jesse Garrison, of the town of Gainesville of Alachua County
and State of Florida of the second part,
Whereas Nehemiah Brush, by his last will & testament, dated
the tenth day of March in the year Eighteen Hundred and forty
three, duly admitted to probate, and now of record, in the
office of the Clerk of Alachua County and State of Florida
Authorised and empowered his executor therein named to
sell and convey certain real estate also in said Will named,
and whereas the party hereto of the first part, the surviving
Executor named in said will, by virtue of such authority
has sold to the said party hereto of the second part a portion
of said real estate, which is hereinafter described, for Eighty
Dollars, which amount has been fully paid, by the said
party of the second part, as is hereby admitted,
Now therefore this Indenture witnesseth that in consideration of
the premises, and of one Dollar, the said party hereto of the
first part, Executor as aforesaid, doth grant, bargain, sell
alien release, convey, and confirm unto the said party hereto
of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, in Fee, all
that lot or parcel of ground situate and lying in the town
of Gainesville Alachua County State of Florida being a por-
tion of a tract of land known as the Arredondo Grant, and
described as follows, that is to say: Beginning for the
same at the North East corner of lot No twenty (26) six 
Brush's addition to Gainesville, and running thence west
six hundred & sixty (660) feet to the North West Corner of
said lot, thence South one hundred and thirty two (132) feet
along the West boundary line of said lot, thence East Six
hundred & sixty feet (660) to the east boundary line of said
lot, and thence north along the East boundary line one
hundred and thirty two (132) feet to the place of beginning
containing two (2) acres in the same more or less,
It being a part of the same ground which by a decree
passed in the case of Brush et al against Prall et al in
the Circuit Court of St Johns County and State of Florida on
the eleventh day of August, in the year Eighteen hundred &
forty nine, which decree has been duly recorded in the
Clerks office of Alachua County in said State, was
adjudged & apportioned as the property belonging to the
estate of the said Nehemiah Brush deceased.
Together with all and singular the rights privileges advantages
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances and the reversion
and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents issues and
profits thereof: and also all the estate, rights title interest
claim & demand whatsoever, both in law and equity whereof
the said testator had in his lifetime and at the time of
