                 Alachua County   } This Indenture made
this the fifteenth day of December AD eighteen hundred and 
seventy seven between R.P. Haynesworth of the County and State
aforesaid parties of the first part and Cato Johnson of the
same place parties of the second part Witnesseth that the
the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the
sum of one hundred & ninety four dollars to him in hand paid
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath given granted bar-
gained sold and conveyed and by these presents doth give grant
bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the second part
and to his heirs forever all that certain tract or parcel of land in
the County & State aforesaid known and described as follows to
wit: The Eastern portion S1/2 of lot five containing Eleven
acres also the S1/2 of lot 6 S4, T8 R18 S & E containing in
all Forty eight and a half acres more or less, To have and to hold
all and singular the aforesaid premises with the appurtenances
unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
forever in fee simple, and that the said party of the first
part do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said party
of the second part that I am the lawfull owner of the
premises above described and have full power and authority
to sell and convey the same and I will warrant and defend
the title to the same forever. In witness whereof I hereunto set my
