N. his wife who acknowledged that they executed the foregoing
instrument of writing for the purposes therein set forth,

This Indenture made and entered into on this the 12th
day of March 1877 between A.C. Beckham and his wife
Margaret L. Beckham of the County of Alachua and State of
Florida of the first part and Robert Duke of the second
part witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred
dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is here
by acknowledged hath granted bargained sold released
conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do
grant bargain sell release convey and confirm unto
the said party of the second part and to his assigns
forever all that certain lot or parcel of land lying and
being in Alachua County and described the North East
quarter of the south East quarter of section twenty three
Township eight south of Range twenty one East contain-
ing Forty acres more or less
   NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Sec 23, T 8, S of R 21 E together
with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any
wise appertaining and also all the estate right title
interest dower possession claim and demand whatever
of the said parties of the first part of in and to the
same and every part thereof To have and to hold the
said hereby granted premises with the appurtenances
unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
to his and their only proper use benefit and behoof forever
