This Indenture made and entered into on this the ninth day of
February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy
seven, Between The Florida Land and Immigration Company, a body corporate
under the Laws of the State of Florida, party of the first part and Antoni-
o Artolozaga of the County of Alachua State of Florida party of the second
part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Fifty Dollars lawful money of the United States of America
to it in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the en-
sealing and delivery of the presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
has given granted aliened bargained sold transferred conveyed and con-
firmed and does by these presents give, grant, alien, bargain sell trans-
fer, remise release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second and 
to his executors administrators heirs and assigns forever all that certain
tract or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida and better known and described on the public maps
and records of said State as the south west quarter of the South west quarter
of section Eight in Township eight south of Range twenty two east, con-
taining Forty acres more or less (SW1/4 of SW1/4 sec 8 T8 S R22 E 40
acres) To have and to hold the above granted bargained and described prem
ises, together with all and singular the rights and privileges, immuni-
ties, easements and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise
appertaining, unto the said party of the second part and his heirs admin-
istrators and assigns as their absolute property in fee simple forever
and that the said Florida Land and immigration Company, for
itself and assigns and for all others claiming by, through or under it
does covenant and agree, that at the time of the execution and delivery
of these presents the said company is seized of a good and indefeasable
fee simple to the above premises, and has good right to convey the same, as it
has conveyed the same, free and discharged from all encumbrances and liens
of any and every nature and description; and that the said party of the second part
his executors administrators heirs and assigns, shall quietly and peaceably, and
may at all times hereafter, have, use, occupy, possess, and enjoy the above described
premises against all persons whatsoever lawfully claiming the same and that it
will at any and at all times make such further covenants, conveyances and
assurances at the expense of the said party of the second part, as he the said party
of the second part his heirs and assigns or counsel learned in the law may req-
uire. In witness whereof the said party of the first part has caused its corpo-
rate seal to be hereunto affixed and these presents to be subscribed by its
President and Resident Manager, the day and year first above written
