This Indenture made the 28th day of June in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and seventy six Between Mary Andrews of the
County of Duval and State of Florida of the first part, and James A.
Pine of the County of Alachua and State of Florida of the second part
Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part for and in consideration of
the sum of One hundred and seventy five dollars (175) lawful money of
the United States of America to her in hand paid by the said party of
the second part, at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has, granted, bargained, sold
aliened, remised, released, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these presents does
grant, bargain, sell, alien, remise, release, convey, and confirm unto the said
party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, forever all "that certain
"tract of land lying being and situate in the County of Alachua & State of
"Florida, known and described on the map United States survey, as the south
west quarter of south west quarter of section Eight in township Eleven
south of Range eighteen east in the District of the land subject to
sale at Gainesville Florida containing Forty (40) acres and two hundred-
ths (2/100) of an acre according to the official plat of the survey of
the said land, returned to the General land office by the Surveyor
General, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments,
and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the
reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders rents, issues,
and profits thereof and also, all the estate, right title interest, dower and
right of Dower, separate estate, property, possession claim and demand
whatsoever, as well in law as in equity of the said party of the first part
of, in and to the same, and every part and parcel thereof, with the appurten-
ances: to have and to hold the above granted, bargained, and described
premises with the appurtenances unto the said party of the
second part his heirs and assigns to her & their own proper
use benefit and behoof forever and the said party of the
first part for herself & her heirs executors and administrators
does covenant promise & agree to and with the said party
of the second part his heirs & assigns that the said party of
the first part, Mary Andrews at the time of the sealing and
delivery of these presents is lawfully seized in fee simple of
a good absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance of & in ad |
