and described as follows, Commencing on the east side of
Jail Street in a line with the north boundary of block
12 of Ingrams addition to Gainesville and running east to
Sweet Water branch and down sweet water branch to a
point & ranging with the southern boundary of said block
No 12, thence west to the Jail street aforesaid, thence north a-
long the east side of said street, to the point of beginning
containing one acre more or less. To have and to hold the
same together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments 
and appurtenances thereunto belonging, in fee simple forever,
and the said party of the first part doth covenant and agree
that he is seized of a fee simple to the above premises, that they
are free from all incumbrances and liens of any nature,
and that the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns, shall quietly and peaceably enjoy the above
described premises, against all persons whatsoever lawfully
claiming by, through or under said party of the first part,

This Indenture made this 29th day of March in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven between
S.F. Halliday of the County of Alachua and State of Florida on the
first part and Wade Brown of the said County and State of the sec-
ond part, for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred dol-
lars lawful money of the United States of America to him in
hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the
ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened
remised released conveyed and confirmed, and by these
presents do grant bargain sell alien remise release convey
and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to
his heirs and assigns Lot Number two of section thirty four
Township Eleven south of Range eighteen East, containing
Forty acres and thirty five hundredths of an acre being part of
a tract of Land deeded to me on the 7th day of March 1877.
