Alachua County   } This Indenture made and entered into on this the
2" day of November AD 1876 between William H. Belton and Eudora A.
Belton his wife of the first part and Thomas W. James party of the second
part all of Alachua County State of Florida, Witnesseth That the said party
of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of seventeen dollars to
them in hand paid by the party of the second part the receipt whereof is here
by acknowledged, have granted bargained sold conveyed and quit claimed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell convey and quit claim unto the
said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever all
that certain lot or parcel of land lying and being situated in the
Town of Newnansville in the County of Alachua and State of Florida
particularly known and described as the East half of the North East
quarter of Block two Range one (E1/2 of NE1/4 of B2, R1) in the
town of Newnansville commonly known as the "S.D. Smoke Lot",
To have and to hold unto him the said Thomas W. James and to 
his heirs and assigns forever, together with all and singular the 
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances, rights privileges and
immunities to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining as
full and effectually hereby warranting the same as we the said
parties of the first part might could or ought to sell convey and
warrant the same by virtue of the authority vested in us by Deed
of conveyance made and executed in conformity to the statutes
of said State in such cases made and provided.

presents that I Eudora A. Belton wife of the said William H. Belton
for and in consideration of the sum of one Dollar to me in hand paid
by Thomas W. James the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
and doth hereby relinquish and renounce and forever quit claim
to all dower or interest of Dower which I may have of in or to the
property above described to wit, The East half of the North East
quarter of Block Two Range one in the Town of Newnansville
in said State & County, and I hereby declare that I do the same
freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from my said husband, Witness my
hand & seal this the 2nd day of November AD 1876
