Alachua County   } Before me personally came William H. Belton
and his wife Eudora A. Belton to me well and personally
known and acknowledged before me that they executed the
foregoing Deed of Conveyance to Thomas W. James for the uses and 
purposes therein set forth, and the said Eudora A. Belton
being by me examined separate and apart from her said husband
acknowledged that she executed the same freely and voluntarily
and without any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of
or from her said husband.

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that
we John B. Dell and Laura L. Dell wife of John B. Dell
of the County and State aforesaid for and in consideration of
the sum of One Hundred & fifty Dollars lawful money of the 
United States to us in hand paid by Samuel B. Slaughter
of the same place the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath granted bargained & sold and by these presents doth
grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Saml B.
Slaughter his heirs and assigns forever the following described
parcel or lots of lands as follows (Viz) North West qr
NW1/4 of North West qr section twenty and NE1/4 of NE1/4
of section Nineteen all of township nine Range Fifteen
East containing Eighty acres more or less. To have and
to hold the same unto the said Saml B. Slaughter his
heirs and assigns forever and we do covenant with the
said Saml B. Slaughter his heirs and assigns that we
are lawfully seized in fee of the premises, That they are free
from all incumbrances and that we will warrant the same
unto the said Saml B. Slaughter against the lawful claims
and demands of all persons whomsoever claiming. In tes-
timony whereof the said John B. Dell and Laura L. Dell
have hereunto set and hands and seals this twenty second
day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and seventy six.

B. Vickeridge             } Alachua County   } Be it remembered that
on this 22" day of September AD 1876 personally appeared before
me as Justice of the Peace in and for said County Laura
L. Dell wife of John B. Dell grantor in the foregoing Deed of con-
veyance separate and apart from her husband and ackno-
wledged that she signed the within deed for the purpose of
relinquishing her dower or right of Thirds to the within premises
