good right to convey the same as it has conveyed the same free
and discharged of any encumbrances and liens of any and every nature
and description; and that the said party of the second part his executors
administrators heirs and assigns, shall quietly and peaceably, and may
at all times hereafter, have, use, occupy, possess, and enjoy the above
described premises against all persons whatsoever, lawfully claim-
ing the same, and that it will at any and all times make such
further covenants, conveyances and assurances, at the expense of the said
party of the second part, as he the said party of the second part his
heirs and assigns, or counsel learned in the Law may require

This Indenture made the second day of March in the year of
Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven, Between
D.W.L. Barton attorney in fact for John L. Barton of Chautauqua
County New York and Annie L. Barton and D.W.L. Barton her
husband who signs for the purpose of ratifying the action of
his said wife in the premises parties of the first part and Otis
W. Snyder of the City of Louisville of the County of Jefferson
State of Kentucky party of the second part, witnesseth that the
said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum
of One hundred dollars lawful money of the United states of
America to them in hand paid by the said party of the second
part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, sold,
aliened, remised, released, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents
do grant, bargain, sell, alien, remise, release convey and confirm unto
the said party of the second part, and his heirs and assigns forever:
All that certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in Alachua
County State of Florida and more particularly described as follows,
viz,= Commencing at the North East corner of Bror N. Millers lot in
lot 5, of the survey of Porter & Bartons by John P. Banks County Sur-
veyor and recorded in public Records of said Alachua County
and running thence east three and one third (3 1/3) chains; thence south
thirty chains thence west three and one third (3 1/3) chains thence north
thirty chains to point of beginning; said described lot is located
in section twenty seven (27) township ten (10) Range nineteen (19)
