Gadsden County   } before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and
             & county
for the Statexaforesaid mentioned personally appeared G. Arnold one of
the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing deed being duly sworn
says he saw James M. Ellis and his wife Louisa sign the foregoing
deed for the purposes therein mentioned

Alachua County   }     Know all men by these presents that we J.W.
                          wife
Turner and J.C. Turner hisxof the County and State for and in considera
-tion of the sum of one hundred dollars to us in hand paid by Albert
B. Edgell the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and convey unto him the said Albert B. Edgell all those certain
pieces parcels lots or tracts of land situated lying and being
in the town of Newnansville in the County of Alachua in the
State of Florida Known and particularly described as the South
half of lots numbers One Two Three and Four in Block
number Four in Range Number One in said Town of Newnansville
together with all and singular the buildings tenements hereditaments
and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise
appertaining      To have and to hold the same to him the said Albert
B. Edgell his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee
simple forever =     And I the said John W. Turner do hereby covenant
and agree to and with the said Albert B. Edgell that I will and my
heirs executors and administrators Have and will forever warrant
and defend him the said Albert B. Edgell in the title to the property
hereby conveyed and in the quiet and peaceable enjoyment of 
the same against the lawful claims and demands of any
and all persons whosoever     In Witness whereof we have
hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals on this 25" day
of July A.D. 1876
