that on this 28th day of February AD 1877, personally appeared
before me a Justice of the Peace of the State of Florida the above
named Genevieve S. Voyle to me well known as the wife of Joseph
Voyle and as one of the persons described in and who exe=
cuted the foregoing deed of conveyance, who being at the time
separate and apart from her husband, the said Genevieve 
S. Voyle did there and then make and execute the foregoing
acknowledgement, her name being with her own hand subscribed
and her seal affixed in my presence

City & County of Baltimore } Know all men by these presents that
we Betty Margaret Mengert, widow of John H. Mengert late of the
City of Washington in the District of Columbia deceased and
Ulrich T. Mengert her son being the sole surviving heirs at
Law of the said John H. Mengert deceased, for and in consid-
eration of the sum of Thirty two hundred Dollars lawful money of
the United States to us cash in hand paid by G.G. Green of
Woodbary New Jersey the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowl=
edge have granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these
presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto him the said
G.G. Green all that certain lot, piece or parcel of land situated
lying and being on the west side of the Court House square
in the Town of Gainesville in the County of Alachua in the
State of Florida, opposite to and fronting the "Arlington Hotel"
in said Town of Gainesville and lying and being in Lot
No Four (4) in Block No Two (2) in Range No Three (3) according
