on this the 21st day of April AD 1877, personally appeared before
me a Justice of the Peace of the State of Florida, the above named
Virginia A. Branning to me well known as the wife of D.L. Branning
as one of the persons described in and who executed the foregoing
Deed of Conveyance, who being at the time separate and apart
from her husband the said D.L. Branning, did then and there
make and execute the foregoing acknowledgement, her name
being with her own hand subscribed, and her seal affixed in
my presence.

Alachua County } This Deed of conveyance made this the fifth day
of March between Samuel C, Tucker Sheriff of Alachua County Florida and
Margaret J. Sanchez of the same State and County Witnesseth that the
said Samuel C. Tucker Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of a writ of Fieri
Facias to him issued from the Circuit Court of the County of Alachua
upon a Decree in favor of James R. Sanchez and against James E.
Whaley and Jesse R. Whaley his wife, levied upon and took an
execution as the property of the said James E. Whaley and Jesse
R. Whaley the following property to wit: the East half of section
Twenty five (25) township nine (9) Range nineteen (19) containing
three hundred and nineteen and 88/100 acres: also the North
West corner of the North East quarter of section twenty six (26)
Township nine (9) Range nineteen (19) containing one hundred and
sixty acres, containing in the aggregate four hundred and
sixty nine and 88/100 Eighty Eight one hundredths (479 88/100) acres,
and having duly advertised the same the day and place of
sale as required by law, did on this day, at the Court House
of said County of Alachua expose at public outcry the said
lands to the highest and best bidder, and at said sale the said |
