State of Florida } These indentures made this the sixth day of January
County of Alachua } in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
seventy seven between Eli Futch the party of the first part and James
E.W. Markey the party of the second part all of the aforesaid
State and County Witnesseth that the aforesaid party of the first part,
for and in consideration of the sum of ($100.00) one hundred dollars
to him in hand paid by the aforesaid party of the second part
receipt
the^of which is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and
conveyed and by these presents do bargain sell and convey all of that
certain tract or parcel of Land lying and being in the aforesaid
State and County known and described as the NW1/4 of the S-
W1/4 and W1/2 of NE1/4 of SW1/4 of section (13) thirteen Township
(7) seven Range (18) eighteen East, containing containing (60) sixty
acres more or less, To have and to hold the said premises togeth-
er with all the appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise apper-
taining to the said party of the first part his heirs and assigns
executors and administrators forever in fee simple and the said
party of the first part do covenant and agree to and with the party
of the second part to warrant and defend the title to the party of
the second part his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims
of any and all persons whomsoever
In witness whereof the said party of the first part, hath hereunto set
his hand and affixed his seal, the day and year above written

County of Alachua } the foregoing conveyance Marthia C.
Futch wife of Eli Futch who being interogated separate and apart from
without any fear of her husband she saith that she by these presents
she doth relinquish all and singular her right of dower to the aforesaid
granted premises, believing the same right to be done, In witness whereof
she hath hereunto set her hand and affixed her seal Martha C. Futch (seal)

Alachua County } Be it remembered that Martha C. Futch wife of
Eli Futch personally appeared before me a Judicial officer of the State of
Florida being separate and apart from her husband acknowledged
that she executed the foregoing acknowledgement for the purpose there-
in contained, Witness my hand and seal this 20th day of March AD
1877 M.M. Lewey (seal) Justice of the Peace.
