duly Established and organized in and by Virtue
of the Laws of the said State of Iowa and that
J.F. Tuttle is now & at the date of these annexed
Certificates purporting to be made by him
as sole Judge of said Mayors Court duly Elected
qualified and sworn and authorized by the Laws
of said State to act as such Judge & further
that I am well acquainted with the hand writing
of said J.F. Tuttle & that the signatures to said
Certificate is in the genuine hand writing of said
J.F. Tuttle In witness whereof I have here to
sett my hand official seal this 22nd June 1877

This Indenture made, this twenty ninth day of January in the year
Eighteen hundred and Seventy Seven between Charles W. Brush at pres-
ent of the City of San Francisco and State of California Executor
of the last will and testament of Nehemiah Brush deceased, of the
first part, and W. Lassiter of the town of Gainesville in
Alachua County, and State of Florida of the second part;
Whereas, Nehemiah Brush, by his last will and Testament, dated
the tenth day of March, in the year Eighteen hundred and forty three
duly admitted to probate, and now of record in the office of the
Clerk of Alachua County and State of Florida, authorized and
empowered his Executors therein named to sell and convey certain
real estate also in said Will named. And Whereas, the party hereto of
the first part, the surviving Executor named in said will, by virtue of
such authority has sold to the said party hereto of the second
part a portion of said real estate, which is hereinafter described, for
the sum of one hundred and twenty five ($125.) Dollars, which amount
has been fully paid by the said party of the second part, as is
hereby admitted.
Now therefore, This Indenture, Witnesseth: that in consideration
of the premises, and of one dollar, the said party of the first
part, Executor as aforesaid, doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, release, con-
vey and confirm unto the said party hereto of the second part, his
heirs and assigns forever, In Fee, all that lot or parcel of ground situate
and lying in Brushs addition to Gainesville Alachua County, State of
Florida - being a portion of a tract of Land known as "The Arredon-
do Grant" - and described as follows, that is to say: the South half
of the South half of Lot No 11 (Eleven) of Brushs addition to Gainesville
being one hundred (100) feet north and south, by two hundred (200)
feet East and west. It being a part of the same Ground which,
by a decree passed in the case of Brush et al against Prall et al
