                  Know all men by these presents that I
James H. Haygood for and in Consideration of the sum
of Five Hundred Dollars to me in hand paid the receipt
where of is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained
sold and released and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and release unto Alice Canter all that tract or
parcel of Land situated lying and being in the County
and State aforesaid as here in below described Viz
starting from the south West Corner of Sec (31) of
Township number Eleven (11) Range number Twenty One
(21) thence running in an Easterly direction along the
southern line of said section fifty four Chains and a
half thence running in a northerly direction thirteen Chains
and Twenty One Links at this is ascertained the south
East Corner and the starting point of the tract.
I now and hereby grant and Convey to the said
Alice Center from this point the Line runs in
an westerly direction twenty six Chains and 86 Links
thence it runs in a Northerly direction Twenty Six
Chains & Eighty three Links thence in an Easterly direc
tion twenty Six Chains and Eighty three Links thence in a
southerly direction twenty Six Chains and Eighty Three Links
to the second initial point Containg Seventy two Acres
be the same more or Less. Together with all and singular
the rights members hereditaments and appertainances
there to belonging or in any wise incident or appertaining
To Have and to hold all and Singular the said premises
unto the said Alice Center her heirs and assigns forever
In testimony where of I here unto set my hand and affix
my seal this Sixteenth day of June in the Year of our
Lord Eighteen Hundred & Seventy Seven

J.H. Hagood sign & seal the foregoing deed of Conveyance
and that he acknowledged that he did so for the use & purposes

as witnesses sworn to & subscribed before me this 10th day of July
