Into Election road and cattle and Justice of the Peace
Districts
Notice
At a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners
of Alachua County hed in Gainesville on Tuesday August
the 7th A.D. 1877, the following divisions of the County of
Alachua into Eleven Election, Road, Cattle and Justice of the
Peace Districts was made under the provisions of an act
approved Feby 27th 1877, which having been duly recorded
are directed to be published in said County, for four consecutive
weeks District No. 1,
Shall comprise all that portion of the County lying within
township Six Ranges 21 and 22, township 7, Ranges 21 & 22,
bounded on the North and East by Bradford County on the
South by the township line dividing townships 8 & 9, and on
the west by the Range line dividing Ranges 20 & 21, with voting
precinct at Waldo.

District No 2,
Shall comprise all that portion of the County lying within
township Six in Ranges 19 & 20 and township 7 in Ranges
19, & 20 and township 8 in Ranges 19 & 20 the Same bounded
on the North by Bradford County and on the east by
Range line dividing Ranges 20 & 21 and on the South
by township line dividing Ranges 18 & 19 townships
8 & 9, and on the west by Range line dividing Ranges 18 & 19.
With voting precinct at Parkers Store.

District No 3,
Shall comprise all that portion of the County lying within
township Six (6) in Ranges 17 & 18, Township Seven (7) in Ranges
17 & 18 and township Eight 8, in Ranges 17 & 18, the Same
being bounded on the North by Columbia County and on
the East by the Range line dividing Ranges 18 & 19,
and on the South by the township line dividing townships
Eight and Nine and on the west by the Range line dividing
Ranges 16 & 17, with voting Precinct at Newnansville
Cattle Inspector F.A. Underwood
District No 4
Shall comprise all that portion of the County lying
within township Six in Ranges 14, 15 and 16, town-
ship 7, in Ranges 14, 15, & 16 and township Eight 8,
in Ranges 14, 15 & 16 the Same being bounded on the
