one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Deed who being duly
sworn says he saw the same signed sealed and delivered by the parties
whose names are thereto subscribed for the purposes therein set forth and

Alachua County   } This Indenture made and executed this fourth day
of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and seventy five, between James T. Thomas of the State and County
aforesaid of the first part and Oscar A. Thigpen of the second
part witnesseth that the said James T. Thomas for and in consider-
ation of the sum of ($1000.00) one thousand dollars to him secured
in hand to be paid by the said Oscar A. Thigpen The receipt where-
of is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold conveyed
and delivered and by these presents doth grant bargain sell
convey and deliver unto the said Oscar A. Thigpen his heirs and
assigns all the following lots or parcels of land lying & being in
the County of Alachua known as the North east quarter of the
South West quarter of section eight township ten South of Range
twenty two East containing thirty nine & 90/100 acres and the
South West quarter of the South East quarter of section eight
township ten South of Range twenty two East containing thirty nine
& 90/100 acres: the South East quarter of the South West quarter of section
eight township two South of Range twenty two East containing thirty
nine & 90/100 acres & also the East half of the South West quarter in
section seventeen in township ten South of Range twenty two East
containing seventy nine & 88/100 acres: And the West half of the North
West quarter of section seventeen in township ten South of Range
twenty two East containing eight acres.  To have and to hold the
said before described premises together with all and singular the
tenements, hereditaments and apppurtenances thereto belonging
to him the said Oscar A. Thigpen his heirs and assigns in
fee simple forever.  And the said James T. Thomas for himself
his heirs executors administrators will warrant and forever defend
the right and title thereunto against the claims of all person or persons
whatsoever
