This Indenture made the Fifteenth day of August in the year of our
Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Seventy Six, Between August H. Allen
(Single) of the City of New York party of the first part and Mrs Ann Davidson
wife of William J. Davidson of the City of New York party of the second part
Witnesseth That the said party of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of one Dollar and other good and valuable consideration lawful
money of the United States of America to him in hand paid by the said
party of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these
presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted
bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed and confirmed
and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien remise release
convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part and
to her heirs and assigns forever all that one undivided half (the
said party of the second part now owning the other undivided half)
of the Fractional part of Section Five Township Ten Range twenty lying
and being in the Town of Gainesville and State of Florida described
as follows commencing at a Stake thirty feet from the South East
corner of property owned or formerly owned by C. Avera and running
West Four hundred (400) feet thence South Four hundred feet thence
East Four hundred feet thence North four hundred feet back to place
of beginning (In Baileys addition to the Town of Gainesville said
Fractional part being the same premises conveyed to the said William
J. Davidson the party of the second part by deed dated May 11 1876
executed by John W. Cannon Trustee for Alex D. Cannon, said
undivided half freely intended to be conveyed being the same premises
conveyed by William J. Davidson to the party of the first part by deed
dated August 15th 1876 Together with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or
in anywise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder
and remainders rents issues and profits thereof And also all
the estate right title interest property possession claim and demand
whatsoever as well in law as in Equity of the said party of the first
part of in or to the above described premises and every part and parcel
thereof with the appurtenances. To have and to hold all and singular
the above mentioned and described premises together with the appurtenances
unto the said party of the second part her heirs or assigns forever in
Witness whereof the said party of the first part hath hereunto
set his hand and seal the day & year first above written |
