Know all men by these presents that we H.A. Lackey & S.M. Lackey his
wife of the County and State aforesaid in consideration of the sum of Five
hundred Dollars have granted bargained sold and released to Wm H. 
Lackey our entire interest in a tract or parcel of land lying & situated
in Alachua County State of Florida containing Ninety acres more or less
the same being the north half of a fractional portion of the north half of
Section Thirty one Township nine Range twenty East together with all
and singular the rights members hereditaments and appurtenances
to the sd premises belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining
to have & to hold all & singular the premises before mentioned unto
the sd Wm H. Lackey his heirs or assigns forever

of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Seventy Six

come that on this day before me R.F. Taylor a Notary public in and
for the State and County personally appeared Mrs S.M. Lackey
wife of H.A. Lackey the grantor in the foregoing deed of conveyance
who being first duly questioned & examined by me separate and
apart from her sd husbands says and acknowledges before
me that she signed the foregoing deed of conveyance for the purpose
of releasing and relinquishing her right of dower in the lands and
premises in sd deed particularly described & that sd relinquishment
& renunciation of dower as made by her freely and voluntarily
& without any compulsion constraint apprehension  or fear of or
from her sd husband
