Know all men by these presents that I H.A. Lackey & S.M.
Lackey his wife of the County and State aforesaid in consideration
of the sum of Eleven Dollars have granted bargained sold and
released to W.H. Lackey a tract or parcel of land lying & situate in
Alachua County State of Florida containing two acres the same being
a Fractional potion of the north half of Section Thirty one Township Nine
Range twenty East the line beginning in the South East corner of
the north half of said Section & running west one hundred & Thirty
yards thence N Seventy yards thence E one hundred yards thence South
Seventy yards to the beginning together with all and singular
the rights members hereditaments & appurtenances to the sd premises
belonging or in any wise incident or appertaining to have and to
hold all and singular the premises before mentioned unto the sd
W.H. Lackey his heirs and assigns forever.
     Witness our hands and seals this the 3rd day of May in
the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Seventy-Six

State of Florida  } Know all men to whom these presents shall
County of Alachua } came that on this day before me R.F. Taylor
a notary public in and sd State & County personally appeared Mrs
S.M. Lackey wife of H.A. Lackey the grantor in the foregoing deed
of conveyance who being first duly questioned and examined by me
separate and apart from sd husband says and acknowledges
before me that she signed the foregoing deed of conveyance for the
purpose of releasing & relinquishing her right of dower in the
lands & premises in sd deed particularly described & that sd relinquish

ment And renunciation of dower was made^freely & voluntarily &
without any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from
her sd husband
