Know all men by these presents that we Wm H. Lackey & Rebecca E. Lackey
his wife of the County & State aforesaid in consideration of the sum of Five hundred
Dollars have granted bargained sold and released to H.A. Lackey her entire
interest in a tract or parcel of land lying & situate in Alachua County State
of Florida containing ninety acres more or less the same being the south half
of a fractional portion of the north half of Section Thirty one Township nine Range
Twenty East together with all and singular the rights members hereditaments
and appurtenances to the sd premises belonging or in anywise incident or
appertaining to have and to hold all & singular the premises before
mentioned unto the sd H.A. Lackey his heirs or assigns forever
   Witness our hands & seals this the 1st day of May in the year of our
Lord one thousand Eight hundred & Seventy Six

shall come that on this day before me R.F. Taylor a Notary Public
in and for sd State & County personally appeared Mrs Rebecca E. Lackey
wife of W.H. Lackey the grantor the the foregoing deed of conveyance
who being first duly questioned and examined by me separate and 
apart from her sd husband says and acknowledges before me that
she signed the foregoing deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing
and relinquishing her right of dower in the lands and premises
in sd deed particularly described and that sd relinquishment and
renunciation of dower was made by her freely & voluntarily & without
any compulsion constraint apprehension a fear of or from her sd
husband. Witness my hand and seal the first (1)st day of May

  State of Florida } Personally came J.B. Dawkins before me and

and purposes therein contained and that he together with J.M. Brown
signed the same as subscribing witnesses thereto
