County of Alachua } Know all men by these presents That I Mary F.
Cheves wife of the above named Sidney Cheves do by these presents made
and executed by me, separate and apart from my said husband and
in the presence of a Justice of the peace of the State of Florida
acknowledge and declare that I did make myself a party to
and executed the foregoing Deed for the purpose of relinquishing
and releasing all my estate of inheritance and right of dower in
and do the lands therein described and granted and that the same
was executed by me freely and voluntarily and without any
fear or compulsion of or from my said husband the said Sidney
Cheves
      In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribe my name
and affix my seal this 11th day of August AD one thousand

that on this 11th day of August AD 1876 personally appeared
before me a Justice of the peace of the State of Florida the above named
Mary F. Cheves to me well known as the wife of Sidney Cheves
and as one of the persons described in and who executed the foregoing
deed. Who being at the time separate and apart from her
husband the said Sidney Cheves did then and there make
and execute the foregoing acknowledgement her name being
with her own hand subscribed and her seal affixed in
my presence
