seal and delivered the foregoing deed of conveyance for the uses and purposes
therein contained and expressed

  Mattie E. Robinson To Emma Whittenburg
                    "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that Mattie E. Robinson
Levy County      } and M.J. Robinson her husband of the aforesaid County and
State for and in consideration of the assumption of Mortgage indebtedness to Sarah E.
Chadwick on property conveyed and of the sum of seventy dollars to us in
hand paid by Emma Whittenburg of the County of Alachua in the State
of Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and convey unto her the said Emma Whittenburg all of that
certain lot piece tract or parcel of land situated lying and
being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly
known and described as follows to wit: Commencing at the South
West corner of the North East Quarter of Section 23 Township 8
South of Range 21 E and running due East four hundred
and fifty five (455) feet to the grade of the so called Tampa
Railroad - Thence in a North Westerly direction bounding on the line
of said railroad four hundred and fifty five (455) feet; and from thence in
a South Westerly direction to the place of beginning (excepting a strip
twenty four (24) feet wide along the last named course said strip being
reserved for a public highway) said tract of land being in the town of
Waldo containing by estimation two acres of land more or less
Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and 
appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining
To Have and Hold the same unto her the said Emma Whittenburg
and to her heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple
and absolute and we the said Mattie E. Robinson and M.J.
Robinson do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said
Emma Whittenburg that we are lawfully seized in fee of the
property herein and hereby conveyed and that we have good and
lawful right to sell and convey the same that the same is free
from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever ^except as stated in
foregoing consideration^ and that we will and our heirs executors and
administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same
unto her the said Emma Whittenburg and to her heirs executors
administrators and assigns against the lawful claims and demands
