Shoes Groceries Hardware and Store Fixtures &c belonging to said
merchantile partnership business said Stock of goods now being in our
Store in the Varnum Building in the Town of Gainesville Fla and more
particularly set forth in the statement hereto attached in trust nevertheless to sell
and dispose of said property to the best advantage to collect any and all moneys
due to us and to receive and to receipt for the same whether the same be due
by note account or otherwise and to apply the proceeds thereof as follows. First to
pay all costs and charges of these presents and all the expenses of executing
the trust hereby created and of the residue of the proceeds that he shall pay
and discharge in full the claim of Carhart and Brother of New York -
and of the residue of the proceeds he shall pay notably and in equal
proportions to all of our creditors and obtain their release. And the residue
of the proceeds if any there should be after the payment of our creditors as
above provided to repay to us or our assigns. In Witness Whereof we have
hereunto set our hands and seals this 28th day of March AD 1882

     P.W.W. Sparkman and Wife Brainerd Mitchell
                        "Deed"
This Indenture made the Sixth day of April in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty two Between P.W.W.
Sparkman and his wife S.E. Sparkman of Alachua County State of Florida
of the first part and Brainerd Mitchell of Waldo Alachua County State of Florida
of the second part: Witnesseth That the said parties of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of One Hundred and Twenty five Dollars lawful
money of the United Stats of America to them in hand paid by the said
party of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold aliened, remised, released, conveyed and confirmed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien remise convey
and confirm unto the said party of the second part and his heirs
and assigns forever all those lots of Land lying and being in
