Alexander Goodson and Wife To A.S. Moseley
                       "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we Alex Goodson
Alachua County   } & Celia Goodson wife of Alex Goodson of the aforesaid
County and State for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & fifty
dollars to us in hand paid by A.S. Moseley of the County of Clay in the
State of Florida the receipt whereof - do hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell
and convey unto him the said A.S. Moseley all of that certain lot piece
tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of
Alachua in the State of Florida particularly known and described as
follows to wit: The West half of lot number thirty seven (37) in the
Town of Melrose in the County of Alachua & State of Florida Bounded
as follows to wit: beginning Seventy five feet (75ft) West of the corner of
Lot number thirty seven (37) on the Bellamy Avenue thence West seventy
five feet (75) to corner of lot number thirty eight thence south
one hundred & fifty feet thence East Seventy five feet thence North one
hundred and fifty feet back to place of beginning & containing in
the clear 75 by 150 ft in the clear containing by estimation 11250
square feet Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments
and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining
unto the said party of the second part & his heirs To Have and Hold
the same unto him the said A.S. Moseley and to his heirs executors
administrators and assigns in fee simple and absolute and we the
said Alex Goodson & Celia Goodson his wife do hereby covenant and agree
to and with the said A.S. Moseley and with his heirs and assigns
that they are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and
hereby conveyed and that we have good and lawful right to
sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumbran=
=ces of any kind whatsoever and that they will and their heirs
executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend
the same unto him the said A.S. Moseley and to his heirs executors
administrators and assigns, against the lawful claims and demands
of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim

Alachua County   } I hereby certify that on this 7th day of April AD 1882 before
me personally appeared Mrs Celia A. Goodson wife of Alex Goodson
the grantor in the foregoing conveyance who being first duly questioned
and examined by me separate and apart from her husband says and
acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance
for the purpose of releasing relinquishing and renouncing all of her right
of Dower in and to the land in said deed described and that said
