in fee simple absolute and we the said Annie L. Barton and D.W.L.
Barton do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Sarah R.
Barnes and Annie R. Taylor that we are lawfully seized in fee of the
property herein and hereby conveyed and that we have good and
lawful right to sell and convey the same that the same is free from all
encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that we will and our heirs
executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend
the same unto them the said Sarah R. Barnes and Annie R. Taylor and
to their heirs executors administrators and assigns against the lawful claims
and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to
claim the same. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and 
affixed our seals on this 10th day of April AD 1882

Alachua County   } I hereby certify that on this 10th day of April AD 1882
before me personally appeared Mrs Annie L. Barton wife of D.W.L. Barton
the grantor in the foregoing conveyance who being first duly questioned
and examined by me separate and apart from her said husband says
and acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of
conveyance for the purpose of releasing relinquishing and renouncing
all of her right of separate Estate in and to the land in said deed
described and that said relinquishment and renunciation of Separate Estate
was done and made by her freely and voluntarily and without any compul=
sion constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said husband
