       J.B. Brown and Wife To Mary Glass
                         "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we J.B. Brown
Alachua County   } and E.D. Brown his wife of the aforesaid County and State
for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred & Twenty dollars to them in
hand paid by Mary Glass of the County of Alachua in the State of
Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained
sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto
her the said Mary Glass all of that certain lot piece tract or parcel of
land situated lying and being in the County of Alachua in the State of
Florida particularly known and described as follows to wit: That part of
Browns addition to the Town of Gainesville in Block Eight (8) and lying
between the Lot deeded to Richard McClennon and the Lot deeded
to Susan Glass containing (2 1/2) Two and a half acres of land less (15)
Fifteen feet on the South end thereof left for a Street containing by
estimation 2 1/2 acres of land more or less less said 15 feet. Together with
all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the 
same belonging or in any wise appertaining. To Have and Hold the same unto
her the said Mary Glass and to her heirs executors administrators and
assigns in fee simple and absolute And we the said J.B. Brown & E.D.
Brown his wife do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said
Mary Glass that we are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein
and hereby conveyed; and that we have good and lawful right to sell
and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumbrances
of any kind whatsoever and that we will and our heirs executors
and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same
unto her the said Mary Glass and to her heirs executors administra=
=tors and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of any and
all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same.
