City and State a foresaid Mrs Juliet A. Henderson wife of Roderick
Henderson who on a private examination separate and apart from her
husband acknowledged that she signed & Sealed the foregoing right
of dower of her own occur and for the use therein contained

             I C.T. Phillips Clerk of the Court of Hustings for the City
of Portsmouth State aforesaid do hereby certify that R.C. Marshall whose
name is signed to the foregoing certificate is a Commissioner in Chancery
for said Court duly authorized to take acknowledgments to deeds and
other instruments of writing: and that the signature is genuine.

        John S. McCredie To Alice H. Center
                    "Deed"
State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into on this the thirty
Alachua County   } first day of July AD 1882 Between John S. McCredie
and Julia V. McCredie his wife party of the first part and Alice H.
Center party of the second part Witnesseth that for & in consideration of
the sum of three hundred and fifty Dollars to the parties of the first
part in hand paid by the party of the second part the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged have given granted bargained sold and
conveyed and by these presents do so give grant bargain sell and
convey unto the said Alice H. Center the following Town lot lying and
being situated in the Town of Micanopy and more particularly described
as follows lot three (3) of block three (3) of Township Three (3) and Range
one (1) and the same being according to a plat of the lands of Joel B.
Smith also known as the Derrick lot. To Have and to hold the above
granted premises together with all and singular buildings and improvements
thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining unto the said party of the
second part her heirs executors administrators or assigns in fee simple
forever and the said parties of the first part covenants and agrees with the
party of the second part that they are seized in fee of the premises that
they are free from all encumbrances that they have good right to convey the
same and that they will and their heirs shall warrant and defend the
title to the same against all parties claiming or to claim under them
In Testimony whereof the parties of the first part have hereunto set
their hands and affixed their seals on this the day & year first above
