    E.D. Barnett and Wife to Ellen Dupuy
                      "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we E.D. Barnett and
Alachua County   } Alvania A. Barnett his wife of the aforesaid County and
State for and in consideration of the sum of One Thousand dollars to them in
hand paid by Mrs Ellen Dupuy of the County of Marion & State of Florida the
receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold and
conveyed and by the presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto
the said Ellen Dupuy all of that certain lot or piece tract or parcel of
land situated lying and being in the county of Alachua in the State
of Florida particularly known and described as follows (To Wit) Starting
from the South West corner of Section Thirty one Township Eleven Range
Twenty one Thence East along Southern line of said Section fifty four chains
and one half Thence North fourty chains and four links this being the
North East corner and Starting point of the tract I now and hereby granted
and convey to the said Ellen Dupuy From this the NE Corner running West
seven chains and thirty three links thence East seven chains and thirty
feet thence North twenty six chains and eighty three links to the point
of beginning being the North East corner of said Tract containing by
estimation twenty acres of land more or less: Together with all and 
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same
belonging or in anywise appertaining To Have and to hold the same unto
her the said Ellen Dupuy and to her heirs executors administrators and
assigns in fee simple absolute forever and we the said E.D. Barnett and
Alvania A. Barnett his wife do hereby covenant and agree with the said
Ellen Dupuy that we are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein
and hereby conveyed and that we have good and lawful right to sell and
convey the same That the same is free from all encumbrances of any kind
whatsoever and that we will and our heirs executors and administrators
shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto her the said Ellen
Dupuy and to her heirs executors administrators and assigns against the
lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now
claiming or hereafter to claim the same. In Witness whereof we have hereunto
set our hands and affixed our seals on this the 19th day of July AD 1882
